Quality Auditor (Derby Region)
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £28,000 TO £31,000 per annum plus Company Van
Here at MJ Quinn, we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join the business. This position will be field based covering the Derby area, working the hours of 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.
In this role, your key focus will be to audit, monitor, improve and evaluate quality systems and procedures whilst providing technical support to the operational teams. In this busy and varied role, you will maintain and promote technical and quality standards in line with business needs and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.
- Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
- Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn's values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities.
- Completes Quality audits on works completed across various projects.
- Conducts tasks allocated by the Q Manager to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled.
- Completes MJQ Site Assessment Checklists.
- Completing Root Cause Analysis on behalf of the Q Manager if required.
- Carries out safety audits to Openreach Standard.
- Gives feedback on any issues found on audit.
To be Successful in this role
- Working within a Civils environment.
- Have experience of working within a similar role/ sector.
- Have strong planning, organisation, monitoring and listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Good level of IT skills.
- Using own initiative, working at pace to tight deadlines.
- Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Can prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage business expectations.
