Heavy Cable Recovery Operatives – 2-Man Gangs South Wales & Bristol Area

£600 per Tonne Recovered

Join a Growing Cable Recovery Team

We are currently recruiting experienced 2-man cable recovery gangs to support ongoing heavy cable recovery works across South Wales and Bristol, operating within a 50-mile radius of Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for hardworking, productive teams looking for consistent work and strong earning potential.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for the safe recovery and removal of heavy cable infrastructure across a variety of sites.
  • Heavy cable recovery and removal
  • Working safely in line with site and client requirements
  • Completing daily work records and tonnage reporting
  • Maintaining productivity and quality standards
  • Travelling to sites within a 50-mile radius of Cardiff

Rates & Productivity

  • Rate: £600 per tonne recovered
  • Target: 4 tonnes per week
  • Current gangs are averaging 3.6 tonnes per week
  • Excellent earning potential for high-performing teams

Requirements

  • Established 2-man gang
  • Previous cable recovery, civils, utilities or telecoms experience preferred
  • Full UK driving licence at least 2 years no bans within 2 years
  • Strong health & safety awareness
  • Reliable, hardworking and self-motivated
  • Ability to work efficiently to achieve tonnage targets

South Wales & Bristol region. Sites located within a 50-mile radius of Cardiff.
