A unique opportunity for an ambitious Operations Manager to oversee the management of 3 Nursing & Residential Care homes in Nottingham and Derby, including two newly acquired care homes.
Excellent chance for an experienced Operations Manager to play a major role in driving forward a growing and exciting new care provider, with support from an Operations Director and working on the ground with all three home managers.
Required Experience, Licence & Qualifications- A Nursing Qualification with an active NMC pin is desirable but not essential
- Regional/Operational experience is essential
- Must have at least 2 years experience working as an Operations Manager
- Will be expected to be visible across all care homes within the Nottingham and Derby area
- Must have expert CQC and CCGs knowledge and the confidence to manage a small team of Home Managers
- Essential to be skilled with strategy and with some turnaround experience a bonus
- You have an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care
- You must possess a full UK Driving license
- The purpose of your role is to provide operational and clinical support to each home and maximise the delivery of high-quality care, operational effectiveness and commercial success for each home.
- You will lead a team of Home Managers in key areas of the business, motivating them to hit targets, complete action plans and ultimately create outstanding places to live and work for the residents and employees.
- You will work alongside an Operations Director to manage the overall direction, strategy and vision of the business and ensure that this is followed at the home level.
- Occasionally you will need to join the nursing team as and when the service needs.
- Possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive KPIs such as occupancy, staffing, recruitment, compliance & networking to ensure the company's long term success.
