We’re looking for an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive and enthusiastic team. This role offers flexible hours (minimum 3 days per week) and is suited to both part-time and full-time candidates. The independent practices Equine general practice is rapidly growing, particularly in advanced dentistry and poor performance/lameness work, so we’re keen to find someone with a special interest in these areas. You’ll be a team player with a positive attitude and the drive to build your own caseload. The clinic-based rota allows for both ambulatory work and in-clinic case development, with strong support for further training and certification.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with a focus on equine medicine
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine
  • Strong veterinary experience, particularly with horses
  • Proficiency in laboratory procedures and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in veterinary practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
