We are expanding our presence and are seeking individuals who value loyalty, discipline, and teamwork, including military veterans transitioning into civilian roles. Job Description M&J is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the construction of a new federal agency building in Maryland. Responsibilities Participate in meetings such as preconstruction, quality control, progress, and other relevant conferences with government representatives and contractors. Review construction drawings and specifications, recommend solutions for construction issues, and submit these to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for review. Review contract submittals to ensure compliance with specifications, document comments, and recommend actions. Monitor submittal timelines and advise the government of any delays. Prepare weekly status reports with detailed backup and present them at review meetings. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is highly preferred. 10-15+ years of experience managing large, multimillion-dollar construction projects, including mixed-use facilities. Experience as an Owner’s Representative, preferably with federal clients. Strong knowledge of A/E and vertical construction industries, including systems installation, commissioning, QA/QC inspections, and relevant building codes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to maintain detailed records, lead technical meetings, and deliver presentations to VIPs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic field tools and instrumentation.
