The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Consultant to support our project teams on two exciting sites in the Winchester and Fareham areas. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who leads by example and promotes a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting compliance with the MJ Church management system
- Collaborating with the Principal Contractor
- Promoting a proactive HSE culture across project teams
- Advising on legal compliance and best practice
- Supporting the development of safe systems of work
- Leading employee consultations and chairing HSE meetings
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and investigations
- Tracking and reporting on KPIs and HSE performance
- Advising on CDM 2015 requirements

This role requires a confident and knowledgeable HSE professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple sites. You inspire those around you to deliver high standards. You are a confident communicator and a problem-solver with a passion for health, safety, and the environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar HSE role, ideally in construction
- Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
- GradIOSH/CMIOSH or working towards
- NVQ Level 5/6, Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
