To support the Director of Loan agency administration team (LAA) for RTB and CTB for London branch and MEA. Ensure the effective running of BAU to ensure all day-to-day activities are completed identifying operational issues and taking steps to mitigate risk by enhancing operating processes & systems. Liaise with front office lender and borrower to ensure relevant approvals have been granted. Ensure adherence to key performance indicators and Quality Assurance for the function. Promote an inclusive culture breaking down silos and building a collaborative culture within the function. As a member of the LAA Leadership Team drive consistency in operating standards across Operations. Take an active lead in the Operations change strategy and demonstrate commitment to change through delivery. Work closely with technology establish required system enhancements drive prioritization and plan/manage change for the function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, prepayments, guarantee bookings, transfers, new deals and fees are processed in a timely and accurate manner as Agent.
- To process primary and secondary trades in a timely and accurate manner.
- To communicate with Customers / Relationship managers and Participant Banks (as the case may be) in order to ensure that Agency facilities are correctly handled in accordance with the Agreements and the requirements of the business.
- Monitor the group email box and make sure to take necessary action.
- To ensure that nostro outstandings are tightly controlled.
- To report to the Director any delayed items disputed amounts and provide updates on outstanding investigations.
- To assist in the preparation of the departments reporting and internal controls.
- To assist with projects and ad hoc tasks that further advance the abilities and scope of the Group.
- Supervise a team and ensure all processes and procedures are maintained and adhered to.
- Ability to work independently and securely but to maintain robust links with the Team and the overall group and be proactive & react to issues.
Qualifications Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
