Talent Acquisition Support Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract)

The Talent Acquisition Support (TAS) coordinator serves as a key member of the Human Resources team, working with the lateral recruitment and early careers teams supporting our operations in EMEA and APAC.

This team member will work closely with the HR team in the London office and report into the TAS team in the US.

The role is a Fixed Term, 12 month contract and will be based in our London office, providing support for colleagues across various countries including London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Paris, Stockholm, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

Hours

09.00 – 17.30, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Hybrid working

4 days in the office / 1 day remote work – flexibility may be required to meet business demands.

Key responsibilities and tasks may include

  • Scheduling interviews for EMEA lateral hires.
  • Liaising with colleagues to receive completed feedback forms from each interview.
  • Maintaining recruitment files and CV logs in line with local data requirements.
  • Drafting campus and full-time offer letters for successful candidates in EMEA and APAC and liaising with internal stakeholders for review and distribution.
  • Conducting background checks for new hires, working with HR and Compliance.

• Supporting the European campus hiring processes

  • Arranging travel and logistics for interviews and assessment centres (in-person and virtual);
  • Coordinating campus events across Europe to ensure attendance from key personnel, booking travel and logistics, and liaising with campus and external vendors;
  • Processing all invoices for campus expenses and candidate travel; and
  • Scheduling the intern training programmes including logistics for pre-Internship Induction days.

• Supporting the UK & EUR Analyst training programme

  • Organizing logistics including travel, hotels, sessions, booking exams, etc;
  • Processing all invoices for campus expenses and candidate travel; and
  • Working with the “GAMP” coordinators to allocate mentors to new hires, connecting mentors/mentees ahead of joining, providing support and setting expectations for mentor involvement
  • Working with branding teams, recruiters, and external vendors for recruitment materials and collateral for events and vendor microsites:
  • Utilizing vendor platforms to input data, and review to understand candidate origination and success of initiatives.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and initiatives such as “Women in Finance” events, and The Sutton Trust initiative.
  • Conducting RTW checks for applicants.
  • Collate information for onboarding recruiting firms in Mizuho global systems

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2-years experience in a similar recruitment role;
  • Strong interpersonal skills - personable, approachable and successful at building relationships;
  • The ability to perform well under pressure and adjust priorities as workload dictates;
  • A keen eye for detail, proven organisational and administrative skills and logical reasoning;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Ability to represent the firm and HR internally and externally in a polished and professional manner;
  • Open and receptive to suggestions and feedback;
  • Calm under pressure, flexible and demonstrates a positive attitude;
  • Ability to collaborate virtually across various time-zones;
