The Analyst in the Business Change & Governance Team supports the delivery of change initiatives, governance processes and front office technology enhancements across CIB Banking. The role works closely with senior team members to execute strategic priorities, improve operational processes and ensure effective governance across the Front Office, partnering with stakeholders across COO, Front Office, IT, Compliance, Risk and other corporate functions.

The role provides coordinated support across change, governance and technology activities, contributing to project delivery, process improvement and the ongoing development of tools such as Salesforce to enhance client engagement and data quality. It offers broad exposure to Front Office activities and cross-functional interaction, supporting effective execution of team priorities in a complex, multi-jurisdictional operating model.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Change
    • Support the delivery of change initiatives impacting CIB Banking, including strategic projects and BAU process improvements.
    • Assist in analysing the impact of change on Front Office teams and collating input from SMEs.
    • Support project management activities, including tracking actions, preparing materials and coordinating stakeholders.
    • Assist in requirements gathering, testing and implementation of Front Office technology changes.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors across COO, Front Office and corporate functions to support delivery of change initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes and support efficiency initiatives across Banking.
  • Front Office Technology & Client Engagement
    • Support the ongoing development and adoption of Salesforce and other Front Office tools.
    • Assist in maintaining data quality, preparing reports and supporting enhancements to client engagement processes.
    • Act as a point of contact for system related queries and issue tracking.
  • Governance
    • Support governance and control-related activities across CIB Banking, including coordination with Compliance, Risk and Audit.
    • Maintain logs for actions, risks and issues, ensuring accurate tracking and follow up.
    • Assist with governance forum preparation, including compiling materials, taking minutes and tracking actions to ensure delivery against commitments.
    • Support KYC/CLM processes and onboarding prioritisation where required.
    • Assist with monitoring and tracking of issues, risks and remediation actions.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in financial services, consulting or related environment.
  • Basic understanding of governance frameworks, risk and control processes or change delivery within a banking environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability, with ability to interpret data, identify issues and support problem solving.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work across a range of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and focus on accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including data analysis and presentation of outputs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
