What is the opportunity? The Credit Middle Office Team is part of the Credit & Middle Office function within MHBK Front Office. Credit Middle Office provides a number of services to IAFD, ECFD, ETD and ESFD business lines. The team functions include; Ratings, Portfolio Management, Term Deposit Trading, Client Onboarding, Transaction Capture, Lifecycle Monitoring, Fund Administration and other Administrative tasks. The IAFD Middle Office provides essential services to the International Acquisition Finance Department (IAFD), supporting both the Asset Management team (including the managed account platform - Stratum) and the Origination team within IAFD. Primary duties include assisting the Front Office teams in the preparation of Credit Applications, undertaking ratings (and reviews), KYC / AML support, Loan Closing, reconciliation and preparation of various portfolio, financial and Management information reports. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-paced Middle Office team which provides high quality, accurate and invaluable support. Whilst the role is primarily supporting the IAFD business, support of other areas within Credit & Middle Office will also be required.
What will you be doing? Supporting preparation of credit applications, client set up and transaction capture. Managing Primary and Secondary Loan Closing (Loan Settlement) process ensuring timely and accurate settlement of trades. Support KYC / AML controls. Production of Internal and External reporting. Providing support across Front Office teams in line with Service Catalogue and in adherence to Head Office Procedures and Inter Office Procedures.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Loan (essential) and Derivatives (preferred) Product knowledge, including Credit Agreements.
- Experience in Loan Closing: including ClearPar (essential)
- Strong reporting skillset including attention to detail (essential)
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of computer literacy and skills in data manipulation / presentation.
- Excel VBA advantageous.
