Salary: £40,579.56 (Inclusive of 40% shift allowance)
Working pattern: Friday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts on a rolling rota: 6:00am – 6:00pm (day shift) and 6:00pm – 6:00am (night shift). Shifts rotate weekly between days and nights.
We are looking for a Brewery Team Member to join our weekend team in Middleton. Mizkan is a global food company, producing well-known brands including Sarson’s, Hayward, Branston and OSU. You will play a key role in ensuring our products are produced to the highest safety, quality and operational standards, while supporting day-to-day production and continuous improvement across the Brewery.
The role:
- Operating production processes (including cooking, filtration, pressing and transfers)
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Carrying out equipment checks and maintaining a clean, safe workspace
- Supporting production targets and daily priorities
- Completing production and quality documentation
- Communicating effectively at shift handovers
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
- Working closely with your team to support other areas of the Brewery where required
Key responsibilities:

- Follow all site safety policies and procedures
- Carry out and record safety checks
- Report and escalate hazards or incidents
- Take responsibility for your own safety and others around you
Quality
- Ensure products meet required specifications
- Complete all quality checks and documentation accurately
- Follow SOPs and maintain high housekeeping standards
Productivity & Delivery
- Support production plans and KPIs
- Take part in team meetings and daily priorities
- Support operational maintenance and continuous improvement
