We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established company within the manufacturing sector, for a hands-on Maintenance and Production Technician. This role is split between supporting production operations and carrying out maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and support fault finding
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Support day-to-day production operations to maintain efficiency
- Help install or modify machinery where required
- Maintain basic maintenance records
- Help on the shop floor with production operative duties such as drilling and sawing
Key Skills:
- Hands-on mechanical or maintenance experience desirable
- Background in manufacturing, production, or similar environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Good teamwork and communication skills
