The Role

  • Provide front-line technical and commercial support to customers and internal engineers.
  • Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Identify parts using technical drawings, exploded diagrams, and parts catalogues.
  • Prepare and issue accurate quotations.
  • Process customer and web shop orders.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and lead times.
  • Follow up quotations to convert them into orders.
  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems and Excel.
  • Support the web shop with product listings and pricing updates.
  • Assist with stock management and annual stock takes.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where your attention to detail and customer focus will make a real impact.

Experience Required

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical sales, parts, or support role.
  • Strong mechanical or technical aptitude.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and parts manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills by phone and email.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good Excel and IT skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach.
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, compressed air, automotive, or industrial parts would be highly advantageous.
