We are currently recruiting for a CAD/CAM Programmer on behalf of a growing manufacturing business operating within a specialist engineering environment. The role would suit someone with a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing, CNC programming and SolidWorks design who enjoys a hands-on environment working closely with production and technical teams.

The Role

  • Producing CAD/CAM programs for manufacturing
  • Creating and modifying SolidWorks drawings and models
  • Programming CNC machinery using TruTops Boost
  • Creating and maintaining BOMs and production documentation
  • Supporting bespoke sheet metal manufacturing requirements
  • Reviewing drawings and ensuring manufacturability
  • Working closely with production and technical teams
  • Supporting continuous improvement within manufacturing processes
  • Assisting with production efficiency and workflow improvements

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates should have experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment and demonstrate strong CAD/CAM capability.
