The Role

We are looking for a driven, people-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, sourcing and managing candidates, and delivering an exceptional recruitment service from initial brief through to placement and aftercare. Working across both Commercial and Industrial recruitment, you'll play a key role in helping clients solve hiring challenges while supporting candidates through every stage of their career journey. This role would suit someone who is commercially minded, highly organised, resilient and passionate about building lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Win new business through proactive business development, networking, referrals and outbound sales activity.
  • Take detailed job briefs and consult with clients on hiring needs, market conditions and recruitment strategy.
  • Source, attract, screen and interview suitable candidates for temporary, contract and permanent vacancies.
  • Write and advertise compelling job adverts across relevant platforms.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including candidate registration, shortlisting, interview coordination, feedback, offer management and onboarding support.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through regular communication, interview preparation, CV guidance and ongoing support.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of active candidates and vacancies.
  • Keep the CRM and internal systems fully up to date with accurate notes, compliance records and pipeline activity.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity is completed in line with company processes, compliance standards and relevant legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to share leads, market insight and best practice.
