Our client is seeking a Quality, Safety, Sustainability & Compliance Manager (QSSC Manager) to lead Quality, Health & Safety, Sustainability and non-financial Compliance across the group, as well as oversee facilities management. You will drive a strong safety culture, ensuring robust processes, compliance with legal and industry standards, and continuous improvement across multiple locations. The role also plays a key part in developing and delivering ESG initiatives that support the group's ethical and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage health & safety policy, reporting and procedures including Health and Safety initiatives to improve group culture and maintain their ISO45001 accreditation.
- Develop an Environmental & Sustainability business strategy. Identify, create, and manage group sustainability initiatives and targets across all group sites.
- Work with department leads to ensure their supply chain meets their social governance, sustainability and ethical goals. Uphold quality assurance standards across the group.
- Work with the HR Manager to develop employee compliance training and understanding of QHSE policies across the group.
- Coordinate Route Cause Analysis investigations & customer communication. Report to the business on a monthly basis any ongoing cases or concerns.
- Carry out risk assessments of all work tasks and contractor inductions.
- Promote a culture of safety by investigating adverse events and ensuring safe working practices are adhered to.
Key Skills:
- IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification in Health & Safety management.
- Experienced working within operations and compliance at a management level.
- Experienced with management system development and audit delivery.
- Good communication skills in order to keep all stakeholders informed of progress.
- Full UK driving license.
- IT Literate in MS office programmes, data usage and reporting.
