We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our clients, a well-established and growing business within the electrical distribution sector. They are seeking a Head of Sales to join their senior leadership team in a hands-on, commercially focused role within a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

As Head of Sales, you will lead and develop a high-performing sales organisation, driving profitable revenue growth through disciplined sales execution, accurate forecasting, and a strong customer-first mindset, while embedding a culture of performance, accountability, and development.

Key responsibilities of the Head of Sales include:

  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing and engaged sales team
  • Drive consistent sales growth through structured cadence, forecasting, and pipeline discipline
  • Embed strong sales rhythms, performance reviews, and deal inspection
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent forecasting and reporting
  • Strengthen key customer relationships and oversee strategic accounts
  • Champion a customer-first approach across all sales interactions
  • Drive pricing discipline, deal quality, and value-based selling
  • Partner with Marketing to improve lead quality, campaigns, and conversion
  • Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver customer satisfaction and margin performance
  • Use CRM and data insights to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
  • Develop future sales leaders and support succession planning
  • Act as the voice of Sales within the wider business
