As a Pre-construction Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all preconstruction activities, ensuring projects are accurately costed, well planned, and set up for successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities for a Pre-construction Manager:
- Analyse and interpret project information and specifications
- Prepare estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projects
- Carry out accurate take-offs for labour and materials from drawings
- Support planning and sequencing of construction works
- Liaise with clients to clarify specifications through RFIs
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Participate in tender reviews, site visits, and project handover meetings
- Use internal systems to produce accurate pricing and quotations
- Undertake site surveys and attend site visits as required
- Provide regular updates and reporting to the business unit lead
Essential Skills for a Pre-construction Manager:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the commercial construction sector
- NVQ Level 3 in Construction Contracting Operations (Estimator) or equivalent
- Experience managing the full tender and estimating process
- Strong attention to detail
