We are supporting our client with recruiting a Business Development Manager to cover their Southern region. Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking leader in the fitness market. With a growing footprint in their market, they support a wide range of customers from small independent clients to big brand chains.
If you are a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with deep knowledge of the fitness industry and B2B sales experience, then this could be the opportunity for you. You will be responsible for the UK Southern region, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth through a consultative service based on your fitness industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding and building on your client base.
- Sell consultatively - understand each client’s needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage and grow relationships with warm leads and customers.
- Conduct regular market research to understand emerging trends in the industry.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity using HubSpot CRM.
- Proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
- Experience or strong understanding of the gym, fitness, or wellness industry.
- A consultative sales approach – not just a product pusher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders across all levels.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline.
- HubSpot CRM experience is ideal (or willingness to learn).
- A proactive, driven mindset with a passion for fitness and health.
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days plus bank holidays.
