Key Responsibilities for a Procurement Manager:
- Develop and implement procurement strategy aligned with business goals
- Manage supplier relationships, including brokers and direct suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to drive cost savings
- Analyse spend data to identify efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities
- Support estimating and operations teams with accurate pricing
- Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and ISO standards
- Support supplier compliance within the ISMS framework
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Skills for a Procurement Manager:
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Experience working with national supplier networks or broker models
- Commercially astute with strong analytical capability
