An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant HR Manager to join a leading independently owned hotel and spa. As an Assistant HR Manager, you will be part of an incredibly supportive and successful management team with the freedom to shape HR strategy and drive a positive people culture.
The successful candidate will have Commercial Hospitality experience as well as proven HR experience as an HR Advisor, Executive or similar, so if you are looking for the next step in your HR career, this role could be the perfect fit.
Responsibilities as the Assistant HR Manager
- Recruitment & Onboarding – lead the full hiring process, from advertising to induction
- Employee Relations – guide managers on performance, absence, disciplinary & grievance matters
- Learning & Development – design training plans, manage apprenticeships, deliver in-house sessions
- Payroll & Reward – ensure accurate payroll data and support pay reviews & recognition initiatives
- Engagement & Culture – create staff forums, recognition programmes and engagement activities
- HR Operations – maintain HR systems, policies and compliance with legislation
What you need to be a Assistant HR Manager
- CIPD Level 3 (or currently studying)
- Proven HR experience
- Commercial Hospitality experience
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
