As an MPI Level 2 Technician, you\’ll be responsible for performing magnetic particle inspections on a variety of parts, identifying defects, and contributing to our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities for MPI Level 2 Technician * Perform magnetic particle inspections on manufactured components in accordance with established procedures and industry standards. * Interpret and evaluate indications, distinguishing between relevant and non-relevant signals. * Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including defect identification and location. * Maintain MPI equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. * Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Key skills required for MPI Level 2 Technician * Valid MPI Level 2 certification (e.g., PCN, ASNT, or equivalent). * Proven experience working as an MPI Technician in a manufacturing or production environment. * Strong understanding of various MPI techniques, equipment, and consumables. * Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * A commitment to quality and safety.
