Accounting Supervisor / Management Accountant in Leicester

Job Description Management Accountant Full time, Permanent Monday – Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm £Our client, an established and successful manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their busy head office finance function. Management Accountant and CFO, you’ll support two subsidiaries within the Plastics division, providing accurate financial for detail, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing financial performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities for a Management Accountant: * Preparing monthly management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, variance analysis and commentary. * Completing balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, inventory and banking. Supporting annual budgets and preparing 6+6 financial Preparing audit and tax files and supporting the year-end Analysing costs, gross margins, stock and business performance, Working closely with operational and non-financial managers to provide financial insight and support decision-making. * Key Skills for a Management Accountant: * CIMA or ACCA qualified, or studying towards the final level, Strong management accounting and financial reporting ability to investigate and explain financial variances. * Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. * Benefits for a Management Accountant: ~ Pension salary sacrifice scheme and access to a pension advisor ~ 24-hour doctor service through Group Life Assurance ~ Cycle to Work scheme ~ Subsidised staff canteen ?
