We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established global business for an experienced Sales Administrator to join their busy commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced office environment and enjoys providing first-class support to customers and internal teams.

Due to increased business demand and a busy period of change, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

The Role

Working within a busy Sales Operations team, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the order lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Liaising with internal departments including Sales, Logistics and Customer Service.
  • Updating customer information and order details on internal systems.
  • Monitoring order progress and resolving any delivery or order issues.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Producing quotes and supporting the wider sales team with administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring all customer records are maintained accurately.
  • Supporting the team during a busy operational period.

About You

  • An experienced Sales Administrator, Customer Service Administrator or Office Administrator.
  • Confident processing a high volume of customer orders.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, positive and able to use their own initiative.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly.
  • A strong communicator with a professional telephone manner.
  • A real team player with a friendly, energetic personality.
