We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Luton. This is an immediate-start temporary opportunity working a consistent afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing orders accurately for dispatch
- Using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming deliveries
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Completing regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory
- Identifying and reporting damaged or missing stock
- Following all manual-handling, PPE and health and safety procedures
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong picking and packing experience with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable completing physical work and regularly lifting items up to 25kg
- Basic English and numeracy skills
- A reliable attendance and timekeeping record
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm
- Available to start immediately
- Right to work in the UK
An FLT Counterbalance or Reach licence would be beneficial but is not essential.
