Warehouse Supervisor / FLT Operator
£32,000–£34,000 per annum
Location: Luton
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm initially
Mixxos is working with a growing business to recruit a Warehouse
Supervisor / FLT Operator to support its busy warehouse
operation.
This is a varied, hands-on position for someone with forklift and
warehouse experience who enjoys taking responsibility and
supporting their team. Working closely with the warehouse
management team, you will help organise daily activity, maintain
accurate stock records and ensure orders are prepared and
dispatched correctly.
With the business continuing to grow and improve its warehouse
processes, there is an opportunity to contribute your ideas and
play an active part in how the operation develops.
Key responsibilities
* Operating reach trucks to move stock and pick orders.
* Supporting loading and unloading, including counterbalance work
where appropriately trained.
* Checking goods for damage and ensuring quantities match picking
and loading lists.
* Maintaining accurate stock records using warehouse systems.
* Supporting warehouse colleagues and agency workers, providing
guidance and checking completed work.
* Keeping the warehouse and loading areas safe, tidy and
organised.
* Working with managers to resolve issues and respond to changing
priorities.
What we are looking for
* Previous warehouse and forklift experience, particularly with
reach trucks.
* A reliable, proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
* Confidence communicating with colleagues and supporting a team.
* The ability to manage a busy workload while maintaining
accuracy and safe working practices.
* SAP or warehouse management system experience would be
advantageous.
