In just three years, we’ve built the largest events network of any RTD brand in the UK, launched into Whole Foods and WHSmiths, and sold over 700,000 Mixtons. But we’re only just getting started. We’re now looking for an On-Trade Sales Manager to join us as our third hire — someone ready to take ownership, drive growth, and help get Mixtons into the hands of people who didn’t know they needed us. This is a big role in a small team, and you’ll be right at the heart of our next chapter.
The role:
- You’ll be Mixtons’ go-to person for building on-trade partnerships. From hunting down new leads and smashing your sales targets to launching creative activations and managing account relationships, this role is all about autonomy, hustle and results.
What you will do:
- Full-cycle sales management – from lead generation and cold outreach to closing and ongoing account management.
- Pipeline ownership – maintain a robust, transparent and proactive sales funnel through a self-built CRM or tracking system.
- Account development – build meaningful relationships with existing on-trade accounts to drive rate of sale, build advocacy, and create regular reordering behaviour.
- Forecasting support – work closely with operations to accurately forecast sales and ensure supply always meets demand.
- Marketing collaboration – liaise with the brand team to develop effective POS materials and on-trade activation plans that actually get used (and shift product).
- Leadership – manage and mentor Mixtons brand ambassadors and sales interns to support local activation and drive brand love on the ground.
- Wholesale expansion – identify, build and manage new wholesaler relationships; work collaboratively to unlock new on-trade routes to market and drive volume through existing partners.
- Cross-channel contribution – the opportunity to support in the off-trade as we scale, particularly in building cross-channel strategies that support unified growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Must have 3+ years’ experience in on-trade sales (Drinks or wholesaler background)
- Natural relationship builder with strong commercial instincts
- Confident walking into a bar and making an impression — not just a rep, but a partner
- Sharp, organised, and strategic thinker with a strong eye for data
- Self-starter who thrives on autonomy and loves the buzz of a fast-moving start-up
- A team player with the charm, resilience and energy to make things happen
What’s in it for you?
- A pivotal role at the heart of a fast-growing, values-led drinks brand
- Equity options and a bonus scheme that grows with your impact
- Hybrid working with national travel and plenty of on-the-ground action
- Real ownership, creative freedom, and the chance to shape how we grow
- Join a brand that does things differently — and isn’t afraid to stand out
