About the Role
Mixpanel is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Manager (Hybrid AE/AM) to drive growth and retention across the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye (MEA+T). This is a unique, “full-funnel” role designed for a strategic seller who can balance high-velocity acquisition with deep expansion. You will be responsible for managing and aggressively growing some of the hottest Scale-ups in the MEA+T region, ensuring they extract maximum value from Mixpanel. This role is pivotal in positioning Mixpanel as the premier analytics solution in a high-growth territory, requiring a blend of direct sales excellence and sophisticated partner management.
Responsibilities
- Territory Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive long-term territory plan for MEA+T, aligning Mixpanel’s value proposition with the specific digital transformation needs of the region.
- Account Expansion: Manage and aggressively grow a portfolio of existing high-profile Scale-up accounts, identifying opportunities to expand scope and increase seat or data utilization.
- Ecosystem Collaboration: Work closely with Partnerships, local resellers, and solution partners to land new accounts and scale existing ones through a robust channel strategy.
- Full Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end sales cycles for new business and expansions, delivering tailored, ROI-driven proposals for multi-functionality platform deals.
- Field Marketing & Events: Partner with the Marketing team to execute local and regional events, driving field marketing operations to build brand presence across key hubs (e.g., Dubai, Riyadh, Istanbul).
- Trusted Advisory: Cultivate consultative relationships with C-level executives at hyper-growth companies, acting as a strategic partner in their data-led growth.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a healthy pipeline of both new and expansion business, providing accurate forecasting in a fast-paced “velocity deal” environment.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Has
- 4+ years of SaaS sales experience: A proven track record of exceeding quotas in both new business acquisition and account management.
- Regional Expertise: Deep knowledge of the MEA+T business landscape, including cultural nuances, regulatory environments, and the local tech ecosystem.
- Channel Savvy: Direct experience working with channel partners and resellers to co-sell and drive indirect revenue.
- Linguistic Skills: Fluency in Arabic or Turkish is highly preferred to effectively engage with local stakeholders.
- Versatile Selling: Experience with multi-functionality platform selling and managing high-velocity deals without sacrificing deal quality.
- Strategic Self-Starter: Ability to operate independently in London while building a long-term roadmap for a remote, diverse territory.
- Coachability: A growth mindset with a genuine interest in learning regional nuances and evolving your sales craft.
- Sales Rigor: Familiarity with methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Value Selling.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the MEA+T region to meet clients and partners.
