Are you an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer ready to take a leading role in technically challenging projects? Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior / Principal Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our established Manchester team. This position offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary projects across sectors including life sciences, defence, education, commercial, healthcare and renewable energy, delivering high-quality engineering solutions that make a meaningful impact.

Purpose:

  • Produce and review calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports; apply strong knowledge of industry standards, legislation and best practice.

Project Delivery:

  • Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders; monitor programme, workload and technical quality across deliverables.

Digital Engineering:

  • Support the production and review of design drawings and digital models; contribute to efficient design processes through modern engineering tools.

Client Engagement:

  • Contribute to bid preparation and fee proposals; support project planning and resource coordination.
