Purpose & Scope of the Role
You will support regional business growth by implementing the regional business development plan and developing new client relationships. Day‑to‑day you will deliver condition and asset surveys, building pathology and historic fabric inspections, measured surveys, fire risk assessments, access audits, dilapidations advice, insurance valuations and planned maintenance input. You’ll prepare technical reports, tender and contract documentation, specifications and AutoCAD drawings, act as contractor administrator for small works, and support quality management.

You will convert technical expertise into clear, commercially valuable outputs that strengthen client relationships and grow regional revenue. Your reports and designs will inform asset management decisions, reduce risk and shape maintenance programmes. Training, Qualifications & Experience
RICS Chartered building surveyor (essential). Degree qualified with demonstrable building surveying experience. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, clean driving licence. Desirable: security clearance and proven track record of improving revenues/financial performance.
Working Environment
Based in Manchester or Leeds with hybrid working. Expect a mix of site and office days — typically 2–3 days in the office per week, flexible arrangements considered to suit delivery and client meetings.
