MiX Consultancy Ltd is an independent consultancy specializing in IT Infrastructure, Audio Visual, Physical Security, Data Networks & SMART Buildings Technology Solutions & Technology Project Management. MiX works with both SMEs and larger organizations to develop technology strategies for corporate relocations and upgrades including building fit-outs, in-situation refresh projects and data centres.

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help grow our business, build strong client relationships, and identify new opportunities. This is a full-time role based in London and involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams to define strategies, negotiate contracts, create proposals, and oversee client engagement from lead generation to project implementation. This role also requires conducting market research and staying informed about industry trends to contribute to business growth.

Duties

  • Support MiX's Commercial Director with Business Development Planning
  • Bid Management – assist with creation of Proposals, Presentations, Capability Statements and other ad hoc documentation required during the bidding process.
  • Organise and produce introductory presentation & other Business Development material needed in conjunction with the Marketing Department
  • Identify and Develop Pipeline Opportunities
  • Maintain existing professional relationships with Industry Peers
  • Target ‘Next Gen’ demographic within existing consultant relationships
  • Represent MiX at industry events such as Corenet, YEP and BCO.
  • Identify opportunities for B2B meetings
  • Develop new business introductions – client centric approach
  • Own sale process from lead, client meeting, proposal to close
  • Develop new business wins into accounts

Responsibilities

  • Manage & Produce PQQ, Accreditation and Tender Responses
  • Manage & Produce Pitch Presentation Responses
  • Work with Marketing Department to deliver Responses
  • Work with Operations Team to continually develop content for Bid Documents.
  • Being aware of themselves and those around them and act in a safe and healthy manner.
  • Adhere to the IMS Policies, Manuals and Procedures that are included in the IMS
  • Identify and report any hazards or risks.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 – particularly use of SharePoint, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Diary Management – particularly Microsoft Outlook
  • Proactive, personable and organized
