Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor who has built a reputation for excellence and innovation and has an international track record of achievement. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Coordinator based at our Head Office in Antrim.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design service provided on joinery and fit-out contracts, managing an in-house design team and working alongside the project management team, production, the client’s multidisciplinary team, external consultants, specialist sub-contractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing the project’s design development in collaboration with the project manager, the client and Mivan’s architectural consultant.
  • Monitoring design costs on projects against budget allowances.
  • Ensure the design team produces drawings accurately, efficiently and according to programme.
  • Proactively resolve design issues.
  • Maintain adequate records, manage flow of information and provide regular progress reports.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in architectural design and/or construction projects including experience of progressing projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards for design and build contracts and a knowledge of BIM processes. Candidates should have experience working to tight programmes.
