As they continue to grow, they have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join them.
This is a particularly exciting time to be joining the business as they embark on a warehouse relocation project so you will play a key role in site optimisation, workflow and layout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of the warehouse operation, this will include small-scale production / finishing activities.
- Deploy warehouse resources effectively, implement clear procedures and drive performance through targeted KPIs with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
- Oversee incoming goods, storage, processing and dispatch operations.
- Manage stock accuracy, stock turn and aged stock.
- Lead, recruit and mentor the warehouse team.
- Lead the planning and execution of the warehouse relocation project, optimising the new site layout for space, productivity and safety.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Director on process reviews, efficiency recommendations and cost optimisation.
Person Specification
- A proven warehousing professional with experience in managing a warehousing or distribution operation. This may have included some element of production.
- Possess a strong background in logistics, inventory control and stock management systems.
- Be experienced leading a team with a hands-on, lead by example management style.
- Ideally, experience in managing projects, this may include warehouse site relocations or site layout change projects.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
