Corby, Northamptonshire £28,000 - £30,000 + bonus & benefits Overview: This well-established business who work with customers in a range of industries is looking to appoint an ambitious, driven Sales & Marketing Executive. Working closely with the Head of Commercial, you will get fantastic experience across both sales and marketing and develop skills that will lead to rapid progression in your career. This is a varied role with involvement in the whole process across marketing, sales and customer interaction. The split of the role will broadly be around 60% sales to 40% marketing but this will change depending on what the business needs at a given time. Key Responsibilities: * Play a key role throughout the customer journey from creation and positioning of tailored marketing outputs to dealing with customer enquiries through to orders. * Talk with customers to understand their requirements and work with internal colleagues to respond to these and develop solutions and close orders. * Work with the Head of Commercial to deliver the company's marketing strategy. * Help to create engaging marketing content across social media and other digital platforms as well as more traditional marketing channels. * Follow up on quotations that have been sent to customers and help to maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline. * Work closely with the Operations team to make sure that customer orders are on schedule. * Monitor marketing activity and track engagement and results. The Person: * Energetic, positive and keen to learn with a proactive attitude. * Previous sales, marketing, customer service or customer-facing experience would be beneficial. * A really good grasp of social media and an understanding of what kind of content and style of content drives engagement. * Good attention to detail and organisational skills and able to work on multiple projects at any one time. * Able to work with figures, pricings and quotations. * Confident communicating with colleagues in the business and external customers. * Ambitious with a desire to develop a career not just a job.
