We are recruiting a trainee accountant to join our team. The role involves learning and developing accounting skills in a supportive environment with fully funded training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end financial statements for a wide range of clients
- Calculate corporation and personal tax liabilities and propose tax‑planning ideas
- Shadow senior staff and engage in ongoing learning to progress towards AAT certification
- Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with clients
- Contribute to the team’s delivery of high‑quality accounting services
Qualifications
- At least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 5 or above; at least 3 A Levels or equivalent at grade C or above
- Pending or completed university degree: 2:1 or above
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
- High motivation, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
