Mitsubishi HC Capital UK plc is a vendor finance provider operating across five European countries.

Role overview: Business Development Manager for Europe – responsible for identifying and delivering new vendor finance opportunities across European markets.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead business development activities and generate new vendor finance deals.
  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development, and internal teams to create programmes that meet growth, profitability and risk targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers, presenting and negotiating with senior decision‑makers such as CFOs and CEOs.
  • Collaborate with legal, tax and internal teams to develop tailored financial solutions.
  • Support the organisation's growth strategy, working with senior leaders and the Managing Director.
  • Assist in projects such as acquisitions, portfolio sales and cash‑flow analysis.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Strong understanding of vendor finance programmes across various asset classes, including receivables purchase, invoice discounting and structured asset finance.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging CFOs and CEOs.
  • Solid knowledge of credit risk, documentation, tax, regulation, CRM systems and asset finance operations.
  • Experience in construction, transport, industrial, IT or medical equipment finance markets preferred.
  • Strategic thinker, collaborative team player, and leader capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
