Support and/or lead the origination and the execution of securitisation transactions within the Esoteric sector vertical, MUFG Bank responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the origination and lead the execution of Securitised Products for the bank's clients (in co-ordination with the Esoteric Sector Lead - Securitised Products), with a specific focus on Esoteric transactions, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Data Centre Securitisations (and other assets classes in the Digital Infrastructure space)
- Solar
- Sharia-compliant Securitisations
- IP Royalties and other developing asset classes
- Support and/or lead (in co-ordination with the Securitised Products Transactions Manager), the execution of securitisation transaction renewals, amendments and waivers within the Esoteric Sector.
- If required, support the origination and execution of Securitised Products for the banks FI or corporate clients (in co-ordination with the FI or Corporate Sector Leads - Securitised Products).
- Analyse and produce structural risk memoranda (i.e. credit papers) and reports, review legal documentation, perform cash flow modelling, undertake due diligence on transactions and manage client relationships (including both internal and external counterparties) on transactions.
- Lead or support the deal closing processes.
- Liaise with clients at a counterpart level to relay specific information and respond to routine queries ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Maintain and develop knowledge base of regulatory issues relating to securitisation and developments in the securitisation market.
- Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network, gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support the origination and structuring of Esoteric ABS transactions (supporting the Esoteric Sector Lead and Head of Public ABS).
Education & Experience
- Degree Level or equivalent experience.
- Solid track record of working within the Esoteric space on securitisation transactions in EMEA, in either a bank, rating agency or advisor capacity.
- Credit, legal or accounting background desirable.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to work in a diverse team environment.
- Excellent knowledge and skill working with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in any European languages desirable but not essential.
