We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Engineer with specific experience of implementing and supporting the GRC modules, IRM, BCM and TPRM. Reporting to the ServiceNow Platform Manager, this role is a critical addition to the existing ServiceNow Core team.
Responsibilities
- Served as SME for the ServiceNow product set, ensuring development and operational delivery meet governance and quality standards.
- Managed day‑to‑day technical aspects of the ServiceNow Product suite with a focus on GRC.
- Translated business requirements into technical solutions that optimize automation and integration.
- Triage and estimate incoming enhancement and request tickets for the platform.
- Ensured all enhancements and integrations adhered to out‑of‑the‑box best practice and maintained a high Health Scan score.
- Provided technical governance, guidance and approval for changes submitted for review.
- Oversaw preparation for and testing of platform upgrades.
- Worked with process owners to ensure smooth transition of process automations and integrations.
- Leveraged platform releases to deliver measurable cost savings or improvements.
- Identified opportunities to enhance other products for efficiency gains through automation and streamlining.
- Designed and performed hands‑on development of complex and critical solutions.
- Addressed audit and IT security requirements specific to EMEA and Tokyo Head Office.
- Created and maintained documentation, including policies, processes, procedures and technical reference material.
- Ensured training materials and guides were available for the platform.
- Provided oversight of development and administrative tasks performed by junior and off‑shore team members.
- Maintained and nurtured relationships with stakeholders across the region and globally.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow.
- In‑depth understanding of the IRM module.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and ServiceNow best practices.
- Expertise in root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving techniques.
- Proven experience ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the financial/technology sector; experience with DORA a plus.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
- Degree level education, ideally in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Relevant and current ServiceNow certifications.
- Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT frameworks.
- Experience working in regulated environments (finance, insurance or critical infrastructure).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Results‑driven with strong accountability.
- Ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work accordingly.
