MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Responsible for transforming the Digitial Engineering Services and Solutions department’s operational data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and business performance
  • Lead and drive the automation of reporting processes, developing dashboards, and delivering performance analytics across the Digitial Engineering Services and Solutions department
  • Leverage data, automation, and visualization tools to eliminate manual reporting activities, improve data quality, and provide timely management information that enables leaders to effectively manage cost, risk, service performance, resource utilization, and strategic delivery outcomes
  • Responsible for managing and preparing senior level reports on behalf of the departments programmes of work and executing decision making across the department and wider business
  • Responsible for the creation of accurate, concise, and timely reports which cover a broad range of topics such as strategic and transformational initiatives and the performance, risks, challenges surrounding these project s on behalf of the Digitial Engineering Services and Solutions department

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for the design, development, and maintenance of the departments operational reporting, creating management information packs and leadership scorecards
  • Produce executive-level dashboards and management information packs.
  • Deliver analysis on key technology performance indicators and operational metrics
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams within the Technology, Finance, Risk, Operations, and more to gather relevant data and insights required for reports. Serve as key liaison point to deliver consistent messaging across teams
  • Leverage automation and process improvement experience to continuously improve the reporting process and tools, ensuring reporting is efficient, timely, and meets the evolving needs of the organisation
  • Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement areas through data analysis.
  • Implement and support department monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reporting cycles.
  • Develop and maintain the departments collated KPI’s and KRI and operational scorecards, tracking performance across service management, delivery, resilience, risk, cost and resource management to support the Digitial Engineering Services and Solutions Extended Leadership team with data driven performance reviews
  • Measure achievement against strategic objectives and operational targets
  • Own, build and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Deliver real-time performance visibility through automated reporting solutions.
  • Define and document reporting standards and data definitions working closely with the departments Pillar Leads, Product Owners and Data owners to improve data quality and reporting controls for Executives
  • Accountable for managing the end-to-end process of creating and preparing high quality, concise, insightful and aesthetically pleasing reports on behalf of the Digitial Engineering Services department and the departments programmes of work, which are targeted at a Senior audience
  • Accountable for providing reports which are clear, concise, visual and actionable, and are aligned with the department’s priorities and projects. Ensure status reports are tailored for Senior Leadership audiences, whilst maintaining consistent messaging.
  • Accountable for directing executive leadership on communication positioning and messaging ensuring narrative and messages resonates across global and diverse environments
  • Enable and lead senior leadership engagement through clear, concise executive messaging and reporting artefacts. Managing draft executive reports for appropriate board meetings, executive committees and senior service stakeholders
  • Communicate the transformation vision, deployment timelines, expected impacts, and user benefits
  • Maintain a broad understanding of Infrastructure technologies and Service Operations and financial services industry to contextualise data and provide meaningful insights for a senior audience

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience of business strategy and consulting for business change and transformation initiatives
  • Extensive experience building dashboards and reporting’s in Power BI, Tableau or equivalent reporting tools to create impactful, effective visual reports
  • Extensive experience creating and editing impactful PowerPoint presentations
  • Extensive experience creating structured project artefacts (RAID logs, dashboards, status reports) ensuring consistent communication and transparency across programmes.
  • Strong experience with data visualisation and dashboard design
  • Experience working with large operational datasets
  • Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing principles
  • Strong analytical and data querying skills
  • Solid experience in a consulting, reporting, strategy, business analyst or similar role. Preferably within financial services and technology sectors
  • Demonstrable experience identifying process inefficiencies and implementing automation solutions
  • Capable of leveraging python, excel macros, and other tooling to automate manual steps
  • Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Technology Operations.
  • Knowledge of power automation, power app and solutions for automation
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets from several sources. Knowledge of and practical experience applying data quality principles. Capable of extracting theme’s and trends from raw data, and re-formulating these into a concise narrative
  • Proven ability to make independent strategic decisions and priorities on messaging, positioning and channels
  • A strong track record of engaging credibly with Executives providing confident challenge and clear, decision‑ready insight (C-suite and Senior Executive Management – Managing Directors)
  • Extensive and proven experience of shaping narrative for transformation, change and leadership messaging with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven experience translating complex data and reports into meaningful business insights
  • Proven ability to operate at an executive level leading large-scale technology transformation communication programmes
  • Extensive experience in IT change management and or Technology adoption programs of work.
  • IT & Digital Transformation Understanding: Prior solid experience with Infrastructure and Service Management Transformation and Operations
  • Conceptual understanding and experience withing of technology infrastructure management, alongside the technical Infrastructure stack, IT risk and controls, and IT Service operations. Awareness and interest in financial services business models
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience engaging with senior executives, Programme Managers, IT teams, and business users
  • Excellent Planning, organisations and project management skills demonstrable through the successful delivery of a range of complex communication activities and projects.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and compliance considerations
  • Extensive experience of sitting within a Senior Management Team reporting for L2 Management or above
  • Experienced in dealing with vendors and third-party suppliers
