MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Specifically, you have accountability for the following named department: Global Blended Finance - GBF

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning, Strategy Development and Execution - Structurer
• Risk Management
• Franchise Development
• Controls and Compliance

You will be responsible for contributing to the successful execution of departmental strategy - in line with the regional business objectives, international business objectives and entity requirements. Specifically this will include:

• Ensuring that your day-to-day activities are aligned to the overall departmental business strategy for your product/domain.
• Managing and monitoring your departmental/applicable books risks and associated controls.
• Conducting business in line with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining and enhancing good working relationships between the relevant Sales and Trading department and stakeholders.
• Understanding your product set, the expectations for success and the client base.
• Providing MUFG institutional investors and corporate clients with cross asset tailored, Blended Finance structured solutions.
• Developing, promoting and expanding the Blended Finance structured solutions product offering.
• Structuring, trading, underwriting and distributing products to the approved client set.
• Identifying, monitoring and taking actions regarding the risk being run across your product/domain.
• Delivering and growing a sustainable, client-focussed, flow-oriented business.
• Ensuring the Company’s compliance with internal risk and compliance requirements, controls and procedures.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience in a Financial Institution.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Advanced understanding of a variety of financial instruments, including loans, bonds, complex credit and derivatives.
• Advanced cashflow modelling capabilities.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

Higher degree with quantitative focus or equivalent work experience.
