A key role in the Operations Business Management team to ensure smooth running of Operations. Take lead in coordinating management information, general administration and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth running of EMEA Operations.
  • Coordinate across Operations to keep key policy and procedure documents updated, e.g. Operations Business Continuity, Internal Organisation Charts & Internal policy documents.
  • Establish Operations Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to align KPIs with local, regional and global targets; monitor results and develop plans in collaboration with stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Develop presentation materials articulating key initiatives for various stakeholders, including Town Halls and Senior Executives.
  • Lead projects supporting and representing EMEA Operations in wider programmes.
  • Analyse current operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Support in cost control management of Operations, including expense reporting, tracking and challenging costs.
  • Lead in enhancing and rolling out the Skills Matrix.
  • Maintain and update Operations' Intranet pages to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Management Information: coordinate with key stakeholders to identify relevant KPIs and risk indicators (quantitative and qualitative) to produce high-level management reports.
  • Develop, design, and maintain effective PowerBI dashboards and reports.
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights; ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting solutions.
  • The role holder will be assessed in accordance with the employing entity's performance framework with input from the dual-hat entity as relevant.
  • As duties evolve, the job description will be reviewed in consultation with the role holder; carry out other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role as requested by the line manager or Department Head.
  • Follow regulatory requirements applicable to ensure each business is supported and to maintain the legal entity integrity of MUFG Bank and MUS.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts in needs between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc, escalating as required.

  • Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Word skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible to suit the needs of the role, including minimum three days in office.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on PowerBI.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
