Overview
The Credit Analysis Department (CAD) is the Bank\’s first line of credit defence, working alongside Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) bankers to promote an optimal risk/return on the bank\’s lending opportunities.
CAD is a 35+ team organized into 5 sector teams. Sector teams support new business opportunities and manage risk exposure across an EMEA-wide client portfolio by collaborating closely with Relationship/Product teams in the Front Office and the Bank’s Credit Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Head of Credit Analysis and the five Credit Teams.
- Support the CAD Head of Department and Team Leaders as required, including:
- Oversee the day‑to‑day team administrative workflow.
- Diary Management, including meeting coordination both external and internal.
- Travel & entertainment, adhering to MUFG policies; timely completion of appropriate expense claims.
- Monitor, report and manage the cost centre, especially areas such as travel, entertainment and training.
- liaise with stakeholders across different divisions (e.g., credit, front office, systems, audit, operations);
- implement new controls and processes.
- co‑ordinate intra‑department meetings, meeting room and desk bookings.
- complete adhoc tasks and projects as required.
- organise new joiners/leavers, system requests, IT equipment, etc.
- develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within MUFG both regionally and globally.
Required Experience
- Proven experience supporting large teams in the financial industry or a similar industry.
- Experience in PA role, business support or credit administration.
- Strong numerical, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to multi‑task and manage ever‑changing and often conflicting priorities.
- High level of motivation and initiative.
- Good financial and business planning capability.
- Detail conscious, ensuring reliability at all times, and committed to producing high‑quality and professional work in a team environment.
- Ability to deal with people of all types and personalities at all levels.
- Good written communication – especially important due to the interaction with senior management.
- Good IT skills – particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
