As an Associate Fund Finance based in London, you will be entrusted with the day‑to‑day stewardship of a diverse array of subscription facilities and capital call transactions. Your remit will encompass detailed oversight of post‑transaction processes—from compliance checks to breach escalation—and will involve preparing essential reporting packs for regulatory observance. You will work closely with deal leads and stakeholders to address transaction‑related queries expeditiously while maintaining meticulous records through diligent dashboard management. Your analytical acumen will be called upon during annual reviews of credit facilities and FX lines to ensure robust risk assessment. You will play an integral part in onboarding new deals onto digital platforms such as Oxane Panorama and contribute by imparting your knowledge through structured training sessions for new colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and administer the Subscription Facility and Capital Call transaction portfolio following transaction closure, ensuring all activities are executed with precision, timeliness, and strict adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor borrowing bases and collateral by conducting regular reviews of limited partners (LPs) to guarantee current information and full compliance.
  • Undertake covenant testing, monitor breaches, oversee compliance processes, and elevate any issues or LP defaults as appropriate.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reporting packs—including compliance reports, financial statements, borrowing bases, and review certificates—to identify potential risks or breaches.
  • Assist deal leads by liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding ongoing transaction queries, ensuring clear communication throughout each process.
  • Maintain internal dashboards, reports, and trackers on a regular basis to ensure accurate records of transaction activity across the fund finance portfolio.
  • Oversee FX ISDA/CSA agreements and associated limits, escalating any breaches or concerns promptly to relevant parties.
  • Support annual reviews and credit submissions for standalone FX lines as well as combined subscription line facilities through thorough analysis and documentation.
  • Provide assistance with fee monitoring, reconciliation tasks, revenue tracking, and respond efficiently to debt domain portfolio requests such as new LP onboarding or waiver processing.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new joiners on portfolio management responsibilities while supporting platform data integrity through consistent updates on Oxane Panorama.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience engaging directly with subscription facilities or capital call transactions within the fund finance context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of structured finance principles, coupled with practical exposure to portfolio management processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel and PowerPoint—for managing complex data sets and preparing presentations or reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships within a diverse team environment as well as with external stakeholders.
  • Sound commercial judgment paired with negotiation abilities to navigate complex financial agreements effectively.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings clearly across multiple audiences.
  • A degree‑level education or equivalent qualification.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in compliance monitoring, reporting tasks, and data entry activities.
  • A proactive approach combined with the ability to prioritise workload under time‑sensitive conditions.
  • Experience delivering training or mentoring colleagues is advantageous but not obligatory.
