This role offers an opportunity to support Enterprise Risk Management in delivering objectives for EMEA, focusing on recovery and resolution planning, as well as reputational and sustainability risk management within the ESR team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting MUFG EMEA Recovery and Resolution initiatives, including updating recovery plans, resolution packs, and regulatory analysis.
• Assisting in project delivery, process enhancement, and documentation.
• Preparing risk reports and documentation for senior stakeholders.
• Producing daily reports for recovery trigger frameworks and supporting crisis management processes.
• Engaging with EMEA and Tokyo offices to promote best practices.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintaining the EMEA reputational risk framework, updating policies, and preparing reports for the Reputational Risk Committee.
• Supporting regulatory horizon scanning and tracking key developments.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience in control functions within large financial institutions or consulting firms.
• Knowledge of UK and EU financial regulations.

Preferred

• Experience in recovery and resolution planning, financial crisis management, wind-down plans, or resolvability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant industry experience.
• Studying towards CFA or FRM is advantageous.
