We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in chiller maintenance and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in servicing chillers and related HVAC systems, demonstrating strong technical abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Chiller Maintenance & Chiller Commissioning Work

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding chiller operations and maintenance.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Educate clients on proper operation and maintenance practices to extend the lifespan of their chiller systems.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports outlining service activities, findings, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Execute commissioning processes for new chiller installations, ensuring systems are installed correctly and functioning as designed.
  • Collaborate with MHI agent, customer and contractors to verify system performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with contractors, encouraging teamwork and shared problem-solving.
  • Work closely with the contractor to share knowledge, improve processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing service tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure all parties understand their responsibilities regarding safety.
  • May involve working in various environmental conditions, including outdoor settings.
  • Field-based role with travel to client sites.
  • Available to respond to chiller breakdown calls during assigned standby shifts.

Requirements

  • Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in chiller maintenance, commissioning, or related HVAC roles (3-5 years).
  • Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC principles, and electrical controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Building Construction Supervisors Safety Courses.
