Role summary: The Regional Pre Sales Technical Manager is a key part of the work winning process for the commercial sales network. Regional Presales Technical Managers exist in regions to ensure they and their team serve the local customer base, offering technical, design and selection advice as well as providing quotations and working closely with the regional sales and operations teams.
Skills/Responsibilities: To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Lead, coach, and develop the Pre-Sales Technical (PST) team to achieve performance and personal development goals.
- Oversee PST outputs, customer service, efficiency, and resource allocation.
- Support customer visits, events, and key account activity.
- Maintain and enhance PST KPIs, metrics, and reporting in collaboration with the National PST Manager.
- Drive regional consistency, ensuring alignment with national standards and promoting a customer-centric culture.
- Hold regular team meetings and one-to-ones to communicate priorities and provide feedback.
- Implement all company processes, policies, and procedures within the PST function.
- Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, systems, and service.
- Support Sales and Operations during product launches, transitions, promotions, and stock initiatives.
