Mitsubishi Electric is a global innovator in energy, automation and building technologies. The primary goal in a Product Owner role is to represent the customer to the development team. The Product Owner role is responsible for helping to shape and deliver the Product strategy that underpins our customer proposition by shaping the vision and objectives for the team and driving the delivery of the roadmap.
A key activity is to manage and make visible the product backlog, or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development. Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement. Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer. Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers. Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Extensive product development experience (minimum of 5 years)
- Extensive experience in HVAC and/or Building technical services (minimum of 5 years)
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Team player, able to contribute ideas improving and influencing all software deliverables and related processes
