Role summary: The role will have responsibility to deliver key outcomes including a growing pipeline of customer opportunities through customer consultative engagement and securing solution delivery contracts leading to revenue goals and after sales services and expansion opportunities leading to recurring business and revenue in future years. The supporting business development documents, artefacts, methods, tools and data resources necessary for the role and sustainable future operations will also be considered key outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Expertise and market knowledge of the Power & Energy sector to establish which Mitsubishi Electric products / solutions / offerings should be offered to customers as well as understanding customer demands and market issues:
- electrical energy systems in buildings & the industrial & built environment
- energy transition (and the relevant policies and regulations)
- energy technologies
- energy markets (including C&I tariffs & pricing)
- grid integration
Skills/Responsibilities:
- Experience in consultative and analysis-based customer engagement, business development and sales activities in the energy/electricity sector with demonstrable success and examples of leading customer journeys from data/analysis to solution design to proposition to procurement to delivery, including proof or concept and trial projects.
- Broad range of professional and interpersonal skills including communications (written and oral), goal-setting & goal-delivery, people management, innovation, time/deadline-keeping, critical & analytical thinking, problem-solving, opportunity identification & exploitation, organisation, effective meetings, networking.
- Knowledge and experience of the solutions being developed, trialled and rolled-out to meet current C&I customer challenges: C&I electrical & mechanical systems, electrical power systems, energy markets, energy management systems & software and the clean energy transition, all preferably in the UK Energy Sector and for C&I energy system & management.
- Experience with and understanding of full project or product lifecycle of Digital Energy Solutions Business.
