We are a leading software business working with two key systems. The focus for this role will be supporting our internal IT systems, from our office in Dudley, UK, but in collaboration with colleagues around the globe. You will join a truly global business growing with the support of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.
Responsibilities
- Providing desktop support, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Setup, provisioning and general maintenance of end-user laptops, mobile phones and other related IT equipment.
- Maintenance of server room equipment.
- End-user support, and packaging & deployment of software for employee use.
- Handling detected/reported security incidents, managing vulnerabilities and reviewing security systems.
- Processing steps across the user lifecycle from setup to deactivation including support with IT inductions.
- Support with the safeguarding of data and improve reliability of systems and processes.
- This is a broad role and once these areas have been mastered, opportunity may be there to learn and support other areas of our IT Software provision through Cloud Ops.
Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity or experience of working with the Microsoft ecosystem including on-premises and cloud based programmes.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system.
- Some knowledge or experience of DevOps including Azure and deployment.
- Knowledge of ISO27001 for Information Security Management Systems.
- Automation and scripting through PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash or similar.
- Networking including firewalls, VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN.
The Package
- Commencement: ASAP.
- Full Time Position, 37.5 Hours/Week Mon-Fri.
- Location: Dudley, West Midlands, UK.
- Hybrid working, up to 1 day per week, may be available after completing training and confidence levels are sufficient.
- Up to £37,000 depending on experience.
- Annual bonus up to 4%.
- Vacation – 33 days (Includes Bank holiday and end of year closure).

- 7% Company pension contributions with a 5% employee contribution.
