About the role

Do you enjoy working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting financial operations in a dynamic environment? Then you'll be a great fit for the role of Finance Assistant! As a Finance Assistant, you will support the Finance Manager by preparing accurate and timely financial reports while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function. You will be responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring invoices are handled efficiently and payments are made on time. In addition, you will maintain control over company bank accounts by performing cash and bank reconciliations, helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

What you will do

  • Managing time and attendance administration, including absence tracking and reporting
  • Monitor and report on utilities and business travel expenses
  • Coordinate the ordering and distribution of PPE and workwear
  • Process sundry purchases using the company credit card
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and provide general administrative support

  • Level 3 qualification in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
